PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

What is PRP?

PRP is the process where coagulation cells in patient’s own blood are separated and turned into a platelet-rich plasma which contains pure plasma cells at the rate of 90%, and then this plasma is injected into the skin. In fact, it is the use of one’s own blood as mesotherapy solution. 7 cc plasma is obtained from 10 cc blood.

Growth factors accelerate the development of the collagen tissue and wound healing, and trigger stem cell growth. As a result, we use reproductive cells in our own blood to reach healthy, bright, tight skin and healthy hair. It is one of the methods where we get very good results for burn and scar treatment.

How is PRP applied?

It is applied in sessions. At least 3 sessions are applied within 5 weeks of intervals. 10 cc of blood is collected from the veins in the arm. It is centrifuged and filtered. The resulting pure plasma is injected by the microinjection into the upper skin layer.

The application time is 40 minutes. It is important not to drink herbal teas before the application and not to take blood-thinning medicines such as aspirin. One should not do make-up for 12 hours after the operation and avoid sunlight. Redness disappears in 2 hours.

PRP treatment minimizes fine wrinkles, tightens face oval, revitalizes aging as well. The positive effect on the skin continues for 2 years. However, the effect will last much longer if the annual controls are done and supportive treatment is applied.
